Turkish furniture suppliers for Dubai fall into two groups: showrooms and trading companies already in the UAE, and manufacturers in Türkiye that ship to you directly. A showroom suits small, fast purchases. Buying factory-direct suits retailers, wholesalers and project buyers who reorder the same models, want a written quote from the company that makes them and can plan a container.
This guide is written by ellda mobilya, a furniture manufacturer in Kayseri, Türkiye, producing sofa sets, corner sofas, bed base sets and mattresses since 2010. We quote for buyers abroad ourselves, so the comparison below is written from the factory side. We also say where a Dubai showroom is the better choice.
Who sells Turkish furniture in Dubai?
When a UAE buyer searches for Turkish furniture suppliers in Dubai, the results usually mix four kinds of seller:
- Brand showrooms. Some Turkish brands run their own showroom or a franchise store in the UAE. Prices are retail or trade-discounted retail.
- Local importers and trading companies. UAE companies that buy from several Turkish factories, hold stock and sell to stores, contractors and the public.
- Directory and marketplace listings. Supplier pages on B2B portals. Many are trading companies; some are factories.
- Manufacturers in Türkiye. The company that owns the production line, quotes from its own catalogue and ships to Jebel Ali or another UAE port.
None of these is wrong. The question is which one fits the order you are planning.
Dubai showroom or factory-direct: how do they compare?
| Point | Dubai showroom or importer | Manufacturer in Türkiye |
|---|---|---|
| Speed | Stock can be delivered quickly | Each order is produced and shipped |
| Quantity | One piece to a few sets | Planned in truck or container loads |
| Model choice | What the importer chose to stock | The full catalogue of that factory |
| Fabric and colour | Stock fabrics | Discussed per order, depends on quantity and model |
| Repeat orders | Depends on the importer's next shipment | Same model and fabric can be ordered again |
| Who answers for the product | The seller, not the maker | The maker |
| Import and clearance | Already done by the seller | Your job or your broker's job |
A showroom is the right call when you need a few pieces this week or want to sell without handling imports. Factory-direct makes sense once your volume justifies a container, or when you need the same model in a fabric that is not in local stock.
Why do UAE buyers use Dubai as a hub?
Many buyers in the UAE do not sell only in the UAE. Dubai is a re-export hub, and goods can be stored in a free zone and later sent to other markets. Under the GCC Common External Tariff, most goods entering the UAE mainland from outside the GCC pay customs duty of 5% of the CIF value, according to UAE trade guidance. Goods held in a free zone are generally not charged until they move to the mainland, and re-export procedures differ between free zone and mainland cargo.
For a furniture importer this has two practical effects:
- Plan where the stock will be sold. If part of a container goes on to Oman, Qatar or Iraq, ask your forwarder whether a free zone warehouse or a mainland deposit-and-refund route fits better.
- Mixed loads help. A single container can carry sofa sets for one market and bed bases or mattresses for another, as long as the packing list separates them clearly. Our guide to mixed container furniture shipping explains how to plan that.
Rules and fees change. Check the current treatment of your shipment with a licensed UAE customs broker before you order.
Does the UAE–Türkiye CEPA reduce duty on furniture?
The UAE–Türkiye Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) was signed on 3 March 2023 and entered into force on 1 September 2023, according to the UAE Ministry of Economy and Tourism. It removes or reduces duty on a large share of tariff lines, but each product has its own schedule. Whether a given sofa, bed base or mattress code is at zero, being phased down or only reduced must be checked against its HS code.
To claim the preference, Abu Dhabi Customs states that:
- the goods must be of Turkish origin and shipped directly from Türkiye, or transit a third country only under customs control;
- a certificate of origin or a valid origin declaration must be submitted electronically with the declaration;
- the preference must be requested at the time of import, not afterwards.
In practice: ask your supplier in the enquiry for the HS code of each item and for CEPA origin documents, and ask your broker to confirm the current rate for those codes. Last verified: 22 October 2026.
What should a Dubai buyer check before ordering from a Turkish factory?
Factory-direct checklist for UAE buyers
- The supplier's catalogue with model names and dimensions in cm for every piece
- Factory address and the option to visit the production line, not only a showroom
- A written quote naming models, pieces, fabric and colour per line
- Price, production time and delivery term written in the quote
- Minimum order per model and fabric, stated in the quote
- Export packing method and a loading plan before shipment
- HS code per item and CEPA proof of origin
- Any project or retailer specification you must meet (for example a fire-performance standard named in a hotel contract), written into the enquiry
- Who books freight and insurance, and to which port
Contract and hospitality buyers in the Gulf often receive fire-performance requirements from the project specification rather than from a general furniture regulation. If your project names a test standard, put it in the enquiry so the supplier can confirm in the quote what it can meet.
Which products suit UAE showrooms?
UAE living rooms and majlis areas are often larger than European flats, so buyers ask for wide sofas and corner units. In our range, three-seat sofa widths run from 220 to 295 cm, and corner sofas such as Zirve measure 310 × 310 cm. Bed base sets are made for 160 × 200, 180 × 200 and 90 × 200 cm mattresses, which lets a retailer sell base and mattress as one item.
Before you order, compare the catalogue dimensions with the rooms your customers furnish, and choose a small number of models that cover different sizes rather than several similar ones. The questions to ask a sofa manufacturer guide lists what to ask about frame, foam, fabric and packing.
How ellda mobilya works with buyers in the UAE
We make every model in our catalogue in our 10,500 m² factory in Kayseri Organized Industrial Zone. The 2026 furniture catalogue (88 pages) and the 2025 bedding catalogue (44 pages) are available as PDFs from the catalogue, with model and piece names in Turkish and English. Our team communicates in English, Arabic and Turkish.
- Sofa sets, corner sofas, bed base sets and mattresses can be combined in one shipment.
- Products are packed for long-distance transport, and a loading plan is shared with the quote.
- Price, production time and shipping terms are written in the quote, based on your list and destination.
- Buyers can visit the factory by appointment and see the production process.
We do not sell online and do not publish prices. If you are a UAE retailer who wants to represent us rather than buy order by order, see the dealership page. If you are new to importing from Türkiye, start with our guide to importing furniture from Turkey, and if you are still comparing suppliers, read furniture suppliers in Turkey.
Next step
Make a list of the models, pieces and quantities you are considering, add your UAE port and whether the goods stay in the UAE or move on, and send it through the export page. You will receive a written quote from the factory, which your customs broker can then check against the current duty for each HS code.
